“I honestly can't say enough about the staff at The Jamison. Since our family moved into The Jamison, the staff has always been amazing with regards to our home concerns and maintenance needs. Doris, Jessica, Alyssa and Milady have always been attentive to our home concerns and Ezequiel and Carlos have been very helpful with our maintenance issues. Just recently we experienced a major issue that caused our family to be without power for a few days. Thanks to the support of the maintenance staff, leasing office staff and the electricians that came out to restore our power, our family was able to get through the situation the best way possible. My family and I really appreciated their compassionate way of handling things with regards to our power outage and their humane way of understanding the urgency and necessity of expediting this service request. We truly feel the Jamison staff really do their best to resolve the issues and needs of their tenants in a timely manner.”

“I would not recommend living here. Police show up every 2–3 days, which says a lot about the safety and environment of this community. About six months ago, there were two car break-ins right next to the building where I lived. Someone smashed the windows of vehicles overnight. Incidents like this only add to the ongoing safety concerns. Residents should not have to worry about their cars being vandalized while living in a supposedly gated property. On top of that, the entrance gate is constantly broken, which raises even more security concerns. The trash area is frequently overflowing and smells terrible, yet residents are charged a $25 monthly trash fee. Trash cannot be placed outside the door before 5:00 PM or you get fined. I worked second shift and physically could not put my trash out after 5:00 PM, yet I was still forced to pay for a service I couldn’t properly use. Residents openly smoke weed in the hallways and at the pool, and management does absolutely nothing about it. There are also ants at the pool area that have bitten residents, and this issue has not been properly addressed. The overall upkeep of the property is poor. Plants and trees around the community are dying and not being properly maintained, which makes the property look neglected and poorly managed. In December, there was a major police intervention in one of the buildings. The entire building was evacuated and residents were left without access to their homes for the entire day. The only compensation offered was an apology and $50, which is completely unacceptable. The walls are paper-thin, everything feels cheaply made, and maintenance issues happen constantly. Repairs are needed all the time because of low-quality construction. Many long-term residents are choosing to leave because the living conditions continue to get worse. I also know people who were offered a lower rent price in exchange forrenewing their lease. However, when they received the contract, they were told that “everything was already updated in the system.” They signed, only to find out they are now paying even more than before. On top of all that, the office staff are very unfriendly and unhelpful. What is most disappointing is the complete lack of accountability and transparency from management. Instead of addressing ongoing issues and improving the quality of life for residents, concerns are ignored or minimized. Overall, this has been a very disappointing, frustrating, and unfair experience. Future residents should carefully consider all of these factors before signing a lease.”
